So, as we all know, the 14th of February is not too far away and that means all sorts of lovey dovey stuff. Personally I am not the biggest fan of it, but for those who are, then you might like this.
This edition came about as I decided that I must do some baking tonight in order to wear in my new apron, and given the up and coming Hallmark holiday, I thought I would take the recipe for regular vanilla hearts and make an adjustment or two.
These cookies are so simple and easy to whip up which makes them perfect for kids who love to help out in the kitchen or who want to master something without parental guidance. That being said, I would recommend using a pastry cutter to make adding the butter to the flour a little easier.
Simple yet amazing in flavour, not even an alpha male will be too embarrassed to consume their fair share of these cookies. Although, with that being said, these can be made in any other shape… just in case. Cats are totally awesome, too. (Note: 1 cup = 1 US cup)
